I’ve been eyeing these beautiful Freebird boots by Steve Madden for years but never bit the bullet and dropped the cash. My sweet fiancé gifted the Coal tall boots in the color stone to me for Christmas and I couldn’t be happier. They’re an investment piece for sure but they’re absolutely stunning.

What makes these boots stand out is the gorgeous lace-up detailing in the back. Also, this feature makes the calf size adjustable which is perfect for you ladies with a little wider leg. I styled the boots with my favorite pair of high rise levi’s and a fuzzy long cardigan from Abercrombie I had hidden in my closet from two seasons ago.

Myself and Cara – the beautiful lady behind the camera – spent the day walking around downtown Leesburg and the boots were extremely comfy, even for new leather. We had such a blast drinking cappuccinos and wandering around our local downtown. Cara is also my feature sister-in-law so getting to spend quality time with her is so fun. Leesburg is such a gem and we found plenty of great locations to snap some photos.

These boots are on the high end of what I’d typically pay for one pair of shoes but they’re so worth it. They’re unique and edgy and you can totally transition them from season to season. I’m supper excited to pair these with a floral maxi in the warmer months. If you’re looking to treat yourself, I would 10 out of 10 recommend. Or, you can do what I’d did and drop a hint to your honey, Valentines day is just around the corner after all.
