Winter Wonderland in Loudoun County

My sweet friend and future sister-in-law Cara, braved the cold with me over this past weekend to take some photos and explore The Old Lucketts Store. This beautifully restored historical home was built in 1879 by the Luckett family and was brought back to life by the current owner, Suzanne Elban, and her husband Pat. This little gem nestled in Loudoun County is now home to an array of dealers who sell the most beautiful antiques and vintage finds, along with other little treasures.

This has been one of my favorite places to shop sense I moved to the Loudoun area over 11 years ago. In fact, myself and my sisters took a trip here with my momma to pick out our own bathroom mirrors right before we moved in to our new home. It’s such a fond memory and those mirrors still hang in my parents house today.

If you’re looking for a fun day trip with the family, stop by this unique shop. Not only do they have the most wonderful selection of antiques, but their grounds are magical! With murals customized for the Holiday Season and decorations hung up all over the buildings, it’s truly a unique experience. You can spend the afternoon picking up some Christmas gifts and snap the perfect Instagram photo while you’re at it! Here’s a few photos Cara captured while we were out, I hope they inspire you to make a trip out to the winter wonderland that is The Old Lucketts Store.
